Instructions
Complete the form below to submit a death notice or memorial for the print edition of The Herald and the online edition - HeraldNet.com. You may also place your notice via telephone by calling 425-339-3100.

For Tuesday-Saturday publication, your ad must be in by 2 p.m. the day before. For Sunday-Monday publication, your ad must be in by 12 p.m. Saturday.

A representative will contact you at a convenient time to confirm ad cost and placement.

PHOTO?
If you have a photo scanned and in digital format, please e-mail the photo as a standard attachment to: obits@heraldnet.com Please make sure to reference the deceased name in the e-mail. A photo adds an additional 17 lines to the ad.

Photos must be in this format to insure proper
quality for the printed newspaper:

  • 300 dpi
  • at least 4 inches x 4 inches
  • Don't adjust color/contrast
  • JPEG Format, high quality (low compression)

All notices are subject to approval by The Herald before publication. We only accept notices from Funeral Homes or an immediate family member. We reserve the right to edit, revise, reject or cancel a notice at any time.

Your notice must be confirmed by a Herald representative before publication. It may take up to 24 hours to process your request. Please allow additional time if you place your notice on Friday, during the weekend, or on a holiday -- if you place a notice during these times we will not be able to process your request until the next regular business day.
